MPI: Master Person Identification

mpi.PNG

The Master Person Identification (MPI) application is used to identify an individual person across multiple data sources and domains using configurable matching criteria.

MPI is a record linking application specifically designed to identify individual person records across various organizations, sources and domains.

The application applies multiple matching algorithms to find matches across these domains and produces a merged person record and assigns a Master Person Index Unique Identifier to each matched person record.

The application is designed to allow the user to configure the matching process as well as perform "what if" analysis by executing matching processes and committing the result, only once satisfied, to the matched data in the OtisEd iMart system. The user may additionally export to flat files or XML format files. The MPI application is a windows smart client application.
